Where I grew up, I never thought of wearing any black conscious shirt or apparel. Only after traveling to different states did I notice black conscious shirts with something people wore. I came across this shirt from a YouTube video featuring Eboni Williams and I knew I had to have it, because it spoke to my own experiences. in the couple weeks since I found out about this website, I have purchased three more shirts and I plan to get even more. This is my first time feeling comfortable showing the pride I feel about being an African-American woman and I love that this store speaks to my experiences as an African-American woman. For sweatshirts, I would say order a size or two down depending on how large you wanted on you. I wear an XL in shirts but the next sweatshirt I get I will get in a M.
